The Great Northern War: Part 5 - BoB

As has been mentioned previously, for two months we fought the PA inside BKG. On our side, it was pretty much exclusively Evol/m0o/RKK pilots who spent every single day fighting as hard as we could.

Although the m0o and RKK alliance was an uneasy one before the fighting began, this all changed as soon as we actually sat next to m0o in battle. Being on TS and fighting alongside them we saw that their view of the game wasn't all that different to our own.

We also realised that m0o had some of the finest fighters in the game. To fight alongside them, we felt invincible.

And so, as with all great things, we spoke of the future and potential for destroying alliances. We knew that individually we could cause alliances great pain, but together ... we could become alliance killers.

So we formed a loose agreement. When an enemy blob was up, we would join together and smash it. At all other times, we allowed each other to run our business however the heck we wanted. There was to be absolutely no influence on each other's policies of how to have fun in the game.

While trying to name the three of us we played around with alot of potential funnies. Eventually we decided upon C.C.P.

C.C.P. stood for Cookies, cAKe and Pie.

m0o would be stealing all your cookies while evolution would be taking your cAKe and RKK would be coming in from behind to have all your Pie.

We found out very quickly that it worked perfectly. Together we pulled off some absolutely amazing victories

Aside from the amazing fleet battles we were getting into, I found a new style of fighting ... The Rampage.

The Rampage would occur when we had a fairly decent sized group of pvp'ers and no blobs on the map. Our fleet commander would set a destination and then everyone would charge there as fast as possible killing anything we saw in our paths, trashing the destination before quickly moving on to another destination. It would always get the blood flowing and it was like letting a pack of wolves loose on a bunch of sheep.

Eventually, CCP decided that they didn't like the connotations of our name and we were asked to change it. So we pondered about the name and finally settled on Sassinak's suggestion... "BoB".

BoB stands for Band of Brothers.

It encompases our mutual respect for each other pvp abilities and humour. We have no say on each other's policies but will die for our brothers.

BoB was initially formed with ATUK (who had come up from a long time CA campaign), Evol, m0o and RKK.

RKK's Brothers in arms for a long time had been BNC so we asked them to join us too. Eventually they agreed and BNC between the 5th member of BoB.

Finally and more recently, some ex-m0o members made up a corp named "Rough Necks". Under Val Duane's leadership, they filled the last slot of BoB.

Since it's recent inception, BoB has reigned terror amongst the other alliances in the game. With our comradery and love of PVP, no alliance can find a weak-spot in our corporations. We have no weak industrial side to pick on and with some of the greatest pvp'ers in the game amongst our ranks we are a force to be reckoned with.

The future is bright, the future is BoB.
